Hawaiian’s partners and business networks provide us with a wide range of activities that we share with the community. Each year, more than 100 activities are given away ranging from sports and arts to health and educational opportunities. Our partners either bring activities to you or you to an activity. All activities are free.

Local Giving
Hawaiian are uniquely positioned and able to continuously support local community groups, that hold a positive impact in which our properties are located. This is provided through requests for funding, shopping and accommodation prizes and community spaces.
Prizes
If you're the organiser of a local community fundraiser like a school quiz night, community talent show or charity event, we welcome your application.
Although Hawaiian can't fulfil every request for support, we will try our best!
- Submitting an application for a prize constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Hawaiian Pty Ltd of Ground Floor, 235 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia (the "promoter").
- There is a limit of one prize application on behalf of one community group per calendar year. If multiple applications are received for one community group, the first application received will only be eligible.
- Prizes granted must be used and applied solely for the purpose of the program specified in the Application and as approved by Hawaiian.
- The prize recipient accepts permission for Hawaiian to use their name, image and likeness in connection with the activities for promotional broadcasting or reporting purposes in any and all manner and media, unless restricted by Privacy Legislation.
- If the prize remains unclaimed by failing to collect the prize within three months of receiving the email informing them they have won, the prize will be void.
- The prize recipient is required to coordinate with Hawaiian on any planned media releases, promotion materials or events and may not undertake any advertising, media engagements or promotions which expressly mention the prize or Hawaiian as Grantor without Hawaiian’s written permission as to content and forum in advance.
- The prize recipient that that receives the prize must not make a profit that benefits an individual.
- Hawaiian reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Applications and Applicants to disqualify any Applicant who submits an Application that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- The promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law)
- By their act of registering to participate in the promotion, each entrant acknowledges that the promoter has not made any undertaking to them, and has not made any representation to them, to the effect that they will receive any benefits from the promoter merely by reason of their participation in the promotion.
- The entrant agrees to indemnify the promoter and its associated agencies and companies and the prize suppliers from any liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
- No correspondence will be entered into. The promoter’s decision is final.
Grants
Do you have a big idea or program that will change lives for the better in your local community? No matter how big or small, whether you are an individual, community group or business, we want to hear from you.
- Submitting an application for a grant constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Hawaiian Pty Ltd of Ground Floor, 235 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia (the "promoter").
- There is a limit of one grant application on behalf of one community group per calendar year. If multiple applications are received for one community group, the first application received will only be eligible.
- Funds granted must be used and applied solely for the purpose of the program specified in the Application and as approved by Hawaiian.
- The grant recipient accepts permission for Hawaiian to use their name, image and likeness in connection with the activities for promotional broadcasting or reporting purposes in any and all manner and media, unless restricted by Privacy Legislation.
- If the grant remains unclaimed by failing to send an invoice for payment within three months of receiving the email informing them they have won, the grant will be void.
- Expenditure of the funds so granted must be completed within 12 months after the funds are remitted to the Grant Recipient
- The Grant Recipient is required to coordinate with Hawaiian on any planned media releases, promotion materials or events and may not undertake any advertising, media engagements or promotions which expressly mention the Grant Funds or Hawaiian as Grantor without Hawaiian’s written permission as to content and forum in advance.
- The organisation that receives the grant must not make a profit that benefits an individual.
- Hawaiian reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Applications and Applicants to disqualify any Applicant who submits an Application that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Hawaiian is not liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of the Hawaiian Community Grants Program, use of a Grant, or participation in a program. Hawaiian is not liable for any additional costs associated with the taking of a Grant, should the actual program costs are more than the proposed program costs; Hawaiian will not be responsible nor obligated to pay any monies additional to the notified Grant amount.
