The Hawaiian Giving Box campaign is underway for another year helping to give Perth families in need a happier Christmas.

Hawaiian has once again joined forces with community partners Foodbank WA and Anglicare WA with our big gold giving boxes placed at major Hawaiian shopping centres, office buildings and 16 primary schools.

The Hawaiian Giving Box was developed as a way to make it easier for the community to donate to the charities who directly help Perth people in need and make a real difference to a struggling family at this time of year.

In the lead up to Christmas we are calling on our retailers, shoppers, tenants and the community to donate non-perishable food and children’s gifts.

Each Christmas thousands of Perth families struggle with the reality of not being able to provide a special dinner for their family or put a gift under the Christmas tree. These families may have experienced a parent losing their job, a family tragedy or are facing one of life’s many ups and downs and be in a position where they need some extra help.

If you would like to donate, suggested items include canned vegetables, canned ham, canned fruit, dry goods, canned fish, new toys, disposable nappies, new clothes, new kids clothes, new books.
