30 Students from Bentley Primary School became Scientists on Wednesday 17 October when they put on a lab coat, gloves and safety glasses and learn how to do experiments that lead to new discoveries, new medicines and a brighter future.

This fun and informative laboratory session explores DNA extraction, cloning your own cells for experiments and examining them alongside living cancer cells.

The students meet Harry Perkins researchers for an introduction to some of the complexities of current day medical research.

At Bentley Primary School staff are committed to making sure every child feels valued. The school has an inclusive approach that is designed to improve the outcomes of all students; a distinctive and unique context where the richness of cultures blend together creating an environment of rich learning.
