Urban strategists element are back with Hawaiian, taking up a 7 year lease of the top two floors of Parmelia House.

element, formerly TPG + Place Match, is a previous tenant of Hawaiian’s and share a long and successful relationship.

The extensive fitout is very modern, open and dynamic and not your average office interior.

Levels 18 and 19 were completely gutted, including the removal of external concrete fins on the southern side of the building to increase natural light, improve views and open up the outdoor balcony area for entertaining.  A new internal staircase connects both floors and the lift shaft has been extended to the 19th floor, creating a private tenant only entry.

element Director Andrew Howe said a central city location was essential.

"Hawaiian worked alongside us at each step and has shared our vision and commitment for the fit-out theme and direction, which embodies our culture, energy and commitment to Perth and Western Australia," Mr Howe said.

"Over nearly 30 years our work has focused on city building and strategic planning for some of Perth’s highest profile places and the challenge was to accommodate our growing team in an office space that connected with that legacy, while also being fresh and forward looking for our people and our clients.

"The company's repositioning around five key service streams - planning, place, engagement, design and heritage required a workplace which enabled its creative and technical disciplines to blend seamlessly on a daily basis.

"The goal was to create a cohesive work space that is made up of many different areas – for example, break out, workshop and quiet space – all suited to our multidisciplinary approach.  Staff amenity was at the top of our list and the roof top outlook and deck area has surpassed our expectations.

Hawaiian General Manager, Office Buildings Richard Kilbane said we are thrilled to continue our relationship with element.  This as a vote of confidence in the Hawaiian brand and the way we ‘do’ property.

“We have a long association with element through projects at Claremont Quarter and Bishops See.

“Levels 18 and 19 are a unique space and we are pleased to be working with a company who shared our vision of what the space could be and have delivered a terrific outcome.
