Perth Centre for Photography (PCP) made a temporary move to The Colonnade in Subiaco on June 8, as building upgrades are required at their West Perth gallery.

“In the interest of minimising disruption to our exhibition schedule, we have accepted this kind invitation from our new partner Hawaiian to exhibit our program on this fantastic street fronting space at The Colonnade,” PCP Director Christine Tomas said.

Tomas said the new Subiaco location would also help increase PCP’s visibility.

“The Subiaco location will present us with a unique opportunity to expand our audience, the reach of our program, and exposure for our exhibitors.”

“We’re grateful for Hawaiian’s invitation, and we look forward to working with them over the coming months,” Ms Tomas said.

Hawaiian CEO Russell Gibbs said he was thrilled to welcome PCP to The Colonnade, and believed they would enrich the centre.

“Our goal is for the buildings we own and manage to function as more than a place of work and getting shopping done.”

“Each building has its own unique nature which encourages collaboration and gives the opportunity for our tenants and visitors to stop and connect.”

“We believe PCP will not only add value to The Colonnade, but enrich the area through creating new experiences in the community,” Mr Gibbs said.
