Hawaiian's Bassendean shopping centre officially reopened at the end of November after months of refurbishment by Hawaiian.

The opening was marked with an official ribbon cutting ceremony, massive market day and a community party.

Local school groups also performed a song about Bassendean that they had written with WAM.
